Collecting Star Wars: The Episode Between Episodes
Last week we spoke to the showrunner of Veep, David Mandel, who has an incredible Star Wars collection. From comic book original art, concept original art, screen used props, and not just the Burger King glasses but the original paintings of the posters that promoted the glasses. And not just the glasses but the art which the posters promoting the glasses were based on. But why do we collect? Well, David put in a great way, he asked, "How do you possess a memory?" So this week we decided to talk collections – what we collect ourselves, what items that we love in our collections and what we would really like to hunt down.
