EWOKS, The Episode Between Episodes
Last week we spoke to NY Times best-selling author Cavan Scott, who is one of the authors who developed and wrote Star Wars: The High Republic, the transmedia event that takes place about 200 years before the prequel trilogies. So naturally on this episode between episodes, we’re going to talk about Ewoks!
Okay, you’d think we would dive into the high republic, but something that Cavan said really surprised us. He’s a big fan of the Ewoks. And has an animation cell from the animated movies. Now, in my experience, the Ewoks have always been much maligned – you know the original thing that destroyed Star Wars before JarJar Binks was even an idea. So we wanted to take a look back at the Ewoks, through the lenz of Cavan Scott’s fandom and see if our thoughts or opinions have changed at all. So we watched CARAVAN OF COURAGE and the first episode of THE EWOK ADVENTURES written by Batman The Animated Series co-creator Paul Dini!
