Vanessa Marshall, Star Wars' space mom joins me to share what the franchise means to her, her Five with the Force, why she Chewbacca is one of her favorite characters, how she felt as though she found family in the Star Wars world, how fans have helped her, her favorite Kenner action figure, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Rebels, being MaryJane Watson, and of course bringing to life the matriarch of the Star Wars universe, Hera Syndulla!

Over the years Vanessa has brought voice to some of the biggest heroes & villains of animation - including Wonder Woman on Harley Quinn, Black Canary on Young Justice, The Black Widow on Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Poison Ivy on Batman Brave and the Bold, Gamorra on The Guardians of the Galaxy! And if you’re a Star Wars fan, then you definitely know her as Hera Syndulla on REBELS! All of that’s really just the very tip of the iceberg! In addition to appearing at Comicons this year, Vanessa enjoys hosting, livestreaming and creating content for many E-sports events across the country - raising money for various Charities along the way. Vanessa loves playing the video games she voices (Black canary, Injustice 2, Sheeva, Mortal kombat, and Hera, Star Wars Squadrons) on her Twitch channel as well! She invites everyone to join her!
